Q: How much does your product sourcing service cost?
A: This service is completely free. We will find and quote the product to you at no charge.

Q: What products can you source?
A: Please see our extensive list of main and subcategories under the section, Source Telecom Products’ on the home page. Even if your product isn’t there, you can submit the details to us and we will let you know if we can work on your product.

Q: What is your procedure for sourcing telecom products?
A: We source our parts from overseas. We can help buyers get the quality they depend on, while at he same time saving them money. In order to be a good candidate for overseas sourcing, the buyer should be ordering in volume.

The procedure is very simple. First you have to submit your request for quote. Then, we will present you with the best quote we have received from out of all of our suppliers. If you accept the price, we will arrange for you to view samples. Once samples are approved, you can place your order with us. Just submit a purchase order to us and we will take care of the rest! You will be ordering from us, not the overseas supplier so it is safe and hassle free for you! Typically, the entire process from finding a supplier to you issuing us a purchase order takes about 4 to 6 weeks. Once you place your order, delivery is determined on a case by case basis.

Q: Can a customer return ordered goods?
A: Yes, but they will need to have an RMA number. Please see the 'Warranty, Terms & Return Information' section for more information.

Q: Why does a customer have to wait to check out his shopping cart if he uses the option of "Credit Application" as mode of payment?
A: There are 2 reasons for this:

When the customer first applies for credit, it will take a few days to approve the customer and the amount of credit asked for. With the amount pending, the customer will not be able to check out his shopping cart. The shopping cart, in this case, will be saved for him to checkout when he receives an email that his credit application is approved.

Also, when the customer already has credit, but is short of funds, he will not be able to check out his shopping cart. The cart will be saved and the customer will have to apply for additional credit . Once the increased amount is approved, they will be able to check out.

Q: Under what circumstances will a customer not be able to apply for more credit?
A: If a customer has already applied for credit once and he is waiting for the application to be approved/denied, until the first application is processed, he will not be able to apply for more credit.

Q: How much time will it take to reach an order after dispatch?
A: It will take up to 3 to 4 days for the order to be processed and then it will be shipped out.

Q: Which transportation services do Formosa's use to send goods?
A: We use the services of UPS (United Parcel Service of America) to send goods across the USA.

Q: What are the different modes of payment?
A: The customer can apply for credit with us, pay through Paypal, or they may mail their payment by check or money order.

Q: How will a customer know that his credit application has reached Formosa's?
A: An email will be sent to the customer by Formosa's once we receive a credit application. When the credit is approved, Formosa's will send a username and password in another email to the user .

As soon as the credit is approved, the order will be checked out and the customer will be able to view his order and account details with this username, password.
There is a link "My Account Details" on each page on the website. The customer can login with the provided username & password and view the account details, viz., credit status (approved/denied, amount approved, amount remaining, etc.) order status, order history, etc.

Q: How will a customer know that the order he has placed has reached Formosa's?
A: An email will be sent to the customer when an order is placed.

Q: How will a customer know that the order he had placed has been shipped?
A: An email will be sent to the customer with the details of the order placed and current credit balance (for customers with credit).

Q: Can a customer track his shipped order?
A: The shipped order cannot be tracked but an email will be sent to the customer by Formosa's when the order is shipped.
