Why is Global Trade VillageÒ?

 

We started with our international business in 1985 under the name of Formosa's Communication Co., Inc. to serve mainly the telecom industries. In 1999,  we established Global Trade VillageÒ to focus on 27 millions of US small business. We saw their businesses are under tremendous pressure of two powerful forces: in (super-giant stores) and out (globalization). Their concerns are how am I going to survive not to mention of how to grow under such unprecedented challenging environment.

How do I buy or source products from overseas suppliers?

 

First, you go to Buyer section, pick Main and Subcategory and browse the product you want. If the product you are looking for is not listed there, then you can source and tell us what you need. 

 

After receiving your request, we will ask the suppliers to submit their quotes. For the product you are sourcing, we will ask all relevant suppliers, hundreds if not thousands, inside or outside of our database to submit their quotes (bids).

 

After reviewing their quotes, we will present the best and give you the final pricing.

 

If you like our quote, we take care the rest of the details including presenting the sample to you for approval, arranging the transaction and finally, delivering the product to your destination.

 

 

How do I sell my products to the overseas market?

 

First, you go to Seller section, pick a Main and Subcategory and list your products. You may list as many as you want. It is free. This will instantly expose your product to the overseas market. Also don't forget to check the section of Buyer's RFQs and see if you can supply such products. Whenever there is a buyer from overseas who expresses his interest in your products, we will ask you to submit your quote. If the buyer accepts and decides to order, we will issue a purchase order to you. Basically, you deal with us and we deal with the overseas buyer. We handle all transactions icluding pur payment to you and the shipping arrangement. If you want to work with us for a special marketing campaign in a specific area (nation), please contact us. We would be more than happy to work with you.

 

 

What is your wholesale buying group program for the small business?

 

We believe in " the power of people", namely, if we can pull lots of small business owners together, we can form a mighty purchasing power like a big corporate. By pooling many small orders together, we are able to negotiate the best possible price with our suppliers for a container volume, just like your distributor or big contractor does.  The difference is in every step of distribution, we cut the overhead costs as much as we can. Except to keep a small volume of critical parts, we hold no excessive stocks and inventories. Once the shipment being cleared by the US Customs, we distribute each order, which has been packaged individually by the manufacturer if possible (another way of saving), right from the container to the customer. Each step of saving is passed on to our customer. We pay less so you pay less.

 

What is your referral program?

How do I get into this wholesale buying group program?

 

It all starts with a very simple step. Pick a product in Featured Products section and submit your request for a quote with quantity or different quantities you need, we will tell you the different livels of volume pricings. No minimum quantity is required. What follows are comprehensive updates on pricing and the mumber of orders and volumes received prior to the deadline and final pricing your will receive. It is as simple as that! There is NO cost by requesting for a quote. If the product you need does not reach the required volume by pooling all orders together by the deadline, we will let you know. If there is no order, there is NO cost to you whatsoever. You pay only when you order.
